Without hope we can feel discouraged, dejected, and desperate. Lack of hope can cause us and our loved ones to be anxious, mentally pained, and miserable. In a world where climate change threatens the very existence of many societies, wars are on the increase, austerity is on the rise even in middle-income countries, hope seems in small supply. So, how can we be more hopeful in the 21st century? Are there tried and tested strategies to help us to find hope to assist us in our daily lives? What is the lifestyle of a hopeful person?
